They don't always catch them but they usually find them by the bubbleing up of water on the "Dry" side. Hopefully there's no serious flooding this go around. It's just a mess with the wind blowing and the rain coming down. That, combined with the predicted Thunderstorms in a few hours, can make it pretty bad. I expect to lose electricity sometime today. It's just the nature of the beast. I took my Lifted PU and couldn't keep it straight going down thr road. The Elkhorn Causeway, which is on I-5 between Woodland and the Sacramento Airport, is flooded with wind gusts reported at 70 mph. The CHP are escorting cars through there. However, the worst of the storm is supposed to hit in 2 to 3 hours, about the time Mrs BBT heads to school. Since she has to go to Sacramento Via I-5, she isn't gonna go due to the flooding on the causeway and the dangerous winds. So, anyway, I 'm on my way back from taking the kids to school and am in line of cars at a 4 way stop. BOOOOOOMMMM! I hear a loud noise.
