Yes Linds, we were in Havasu all last week, got home late last night....I didn't want to come home at all. :banghead
.

Yes Silver, I am 42 now :cry ...no, really I am ;)
.
Linds, we're on track to come up late friday eve...where are my details to get there?? :( . My son seems to thinks its right where Lopez lake is. He'll be coming with us too.

Your son is a little too far south...Lopez is about 1.5 to 2 hours south of San Antonio (depending on how you drive that speedy Beemer of yours)  :p

I'm sure you can get yourself to HWY 101 North...so I'll take it from there.

101 North
Jolon Exit (20+/- mintues passed the Nacimento Exit)
Follow the NORTH shore signs to the NORTH shore entrance (do not confuse with SOUTH shore)

If you are taking the I-5
then here ya go:
I-5
46 west
101 north Jolon Exit
Follow NORTH shore signs to entrance gate

Map to follow shortly  :D (scanning now)

WAY OFF TOPIC...but the birthday boy asked...so he shall receive ;)

The Directions RiverLiver posted are perfect.

It states coming from the south you take 101, to JOLON exit and then it tells you about the turn you make on Pleyto Road (there are "north shore" signs, but I can never remember the name of that street...and the fact that it's about 40 minutes passed Paso Robles...another tid bit folks need to know...otherwise when looking on a map, you think NACI and SA lakes are right next to each other, they are, but there are HILLS in the way of a quick trip between the two. ;)

Make sure to print off the directions RiverLiver posted, they are great directions (I think Miller posted them over in the b-day thread also)   :D

Holy Geez its ALOT farther than I thought....prob around 7+ hrs with my rig and boat in tow...that'll be fun after a full day of work on Friday :rolleyes  :rolleyes
It'll be tough on an old man like me :D No-Doze better work good cuz I no drinky coffee.
.
RiverLiver,
Whats the http addy for that map so I can inspect in closer--thanks.

Ziggy, Are you planning on driving up Friday afternoon/evening?

If so, we will try and have our bazillion tiki torches lit so you find us in the dark  :D

Make sure to check the cork board at the entrance gate for our sign that tells you which row we are camping on. And there should also be a sign on the actual row we are camping on. (that might make finding us in the dark a little easier)  :confused  :D

Hey Ziggy...Brad just hollard from the other room...it shouldn't be 7 hours for Ziggy (I'm sure you can ask Todd 87Cole for a good idea of time...he's done it a few times & I think they live near you...right?)...you know NashvilleBounds made it from Valley Center in 6 (but I have a feeling he was driving a little faster then the speed limit) ;)
Posted by: Ziggy on July 19 2004,7:19 pm

Yeah, we'll be coming up late friday after we all get off work. I used to drive to Santa Maria alot which took me somewhere around 4, 4 1/2 hours(record time was 3 1/4 :D ) and Pismo with a load was usually a good 5 1/2+.
I just figure Friday night and dealing with LA/Ventura traffic it'll add a bit of time to the drive.
We'll make it, so when you hear Click-Clack(my diesel truck) coming in that's us :good  :good
Posted by: Wifey on July 19 2004,7:32 pm

Sorry to say  :( but with traffic and all...Yeah then you're probably about right  :rolleyes bummer...

Well we will keep an ear out for you :good ...and don't worry about waking us up if it's really late (or should I say "early")...we (I should say "I") don't mind and actually I like to know everyone is safe n sound (so I probably won't be sleeping until you arrive anyhow)  :D (such the worrying mother hen) :D
end
