Curious about all you Republicans out there on HD's site... How do you feel about Gay Marriages? Should they be legal? Should they be allowed the same Tax breaks that Traditional Marriages have? Now if you come over to the dark side we are a litlle more forgiving   Posted by: Sportin' Wood on Aug. 06 2004,2:01 pm No one answered the queston about tax breaks and such.  I think they should save the term marriage for a man/woman relationship and use another term such as "union" or whatever for the other versions.  That way, the gay people could still have medical benefits, hospital visitations and tax breaks that "marriages" have, and the religious people would still have their sactimonious "marriage."  I think the feds should stay out of it and it should be a state issue as to whether or not they will view the union performend in another state as valid. p.s.
