Posted by: BigBoyToys on Aug. 27 2004,5:53 am <00FFFF'>Sounds like you're having fun back in school Doug     School is so much funner when ya go because you want to, rather than when you have to (Like in High School when parents made ya go)  Glad to see ya getting into the IT field.  It can be an exciting and challenging field at times, but can also be a pain in the    at times.  One big problem with the industry is the glut of unemployed IT people which has been bringing DOWN the average wages for IT folks.  Hopefully wages will start going up again soon.  I guess it just all depends on which area of expertise that you choose. I'm going back too.  Looks like I've decided which school and what courses, and now it's up to the VR Counselor to write up the plan.  If everything goes as planned, I should be back in school by Late September   I saw my Doctor yesterday and he upped the dosage of my pain meds so I can sit in a chair longer with a little bit less discomfort.   If I can only figure out how to make the dizziness and sleepiness go away I'll be set  Now if they'd just pay me a little bit more while going to school, I'd be alright. I'm the only one the Director ask to become a T/A. It cool though I'm helping  to teach Advanced Shiatsu which was a hard course for me but I now know what it's all about so it's cool.The normal teacher/director is on a 2 week vaction and a sub is there that doesn't really know much about it so I do alot of teaching right know, well about 2 hours worth 4 days a week. I also took over student clinic on fridays, So now I'm in charge of the students and get to pick which student will work on which client. these are 2 different groups of students ( morning class,and afternoon class). I really like it. i get along with all the students so They don't give me any problems.
