How can Riverratmike and Rivergirl be on at the same time?  Does someone post from work? Or are you guys like Debolas and Scream and sit side by side with the laptops? :comp  :comp

From what I remember, one computer is in the house and one is in the garage/shop.  :D

<00FFFF'>What's wrong with that?  Mrs BBT's computer is about 4 feet from mine, and we have a bunch more networked throughout the house (all 5 kids have their own PC).
Mrs BBT and I use to go into chat rooms and talk back and forth and mess with the others on the chat boards like Yahoo! Chat :D   It used to be pretty fun and since Mrs BBT and I met on Yahoo! Chat, it was fitting.  Now were past that chatting stuff but still post on the forums sitting side by side :good

We may be doing that in a few months.  I want to get the modem link thing (forgive my computer ignorance).  The thing with the two antenna. . . anyway, our office is outside the house about 100 yards from where the laptop would be and I'm not sure it would reach. I know there is a distance booster now, though, so I figure I'll try it once it gets cold enough that I don't want to be doing homework and research in the middle of the night in the cccccold office.

Which brings to mind this pic from another thread.  That's OK though, because I was guilty of this too. :D

I'm running 2 Dell desktops and one HP desktop through a Linksys router. It all works really well :good until my kid hooks up his Sony PS2 to play Navy Seals :guns online, then everything slows way down, even on DSL. :angry

I also run a hub or two in strategically located areas in the house for network expansion.  Technically, my setup has the capability to run 253 pc's off of the same network.   could change it around a bit and use a server to have the capability for more pc's, but I think that 253 is enough room for expansion :comp  :comp

Maybe it's something to do with the high speed cable. They'll work on the network as long as you don't use them at the same time.

<00FFFF'>Piece of cake.  I can fix this problem.  Just tell me exactly what error it gets or what it does when it crashes.  Before and after....

<00FFFF'>Did I say for free???  The catch is, AZKC must convert to the correct side (GOP Republican) in order for it to work, because everyone knows that Democrats can't do more than 1 thing at a time, hence his computer problem of only being able to have 1 work at a time :D  :laugh
