edit:  Posting under the wrong user :bebe  Sorry Angie!

Jeff( Official liason To the Queen "O" Sheba)

Another cost of leaving the boat in Arizona last summer.
Trying to up grade mid season, long distance.
My plan was simple, replace a gauge each trip.
But when I got to the tach. Hole was too big.( Angie finds this funny :hitit )

Any idea's? I have looked at a few bezels but they don't match the smoke color of the gauges.

Will the bezels make up for the difference in size? ( Angie laughing again)
or should I go to an angle type?

Short of making something what are your ideas.

Autometer make a bigger tach? The bezel may work also. Maybe get a flat piece of aluminum made into a ring to make the hole smaller and get it dyed black or paint it.

<00FFFF'>Just leave the hole open. It will make a perfect xtra beer holder :D j/k

I would buy a set of angled bezels and use them on all the gauges :good

Auto meter makes the other styles in larger sizes but not this one. The nice thing about the ones I picked out is that they are almost flush. They have very little lip and are easy to clean around. Plus the wife likes to park her ass against the dash and this style don't leave a ring :rotflmao

I was afraid I would have to go with the bezels Ordered one will see what it looks like.
thanks for the help

If you find a bezel that works, you can always get it reannoed to match the rest of your stuff!.. :good

You can buy bezels from Rex Marine. I don’t know if the colors will match your stuff exactly but you could go with polished or black on all of your gauges and then the one on the tach wouldn’t look out of place.

The other option if Rex doesn’t have the size to fit the tach is to have one machined for it. If I have the material I would be happy to machine one for you and I bet Mike (Rexone) would anodize it to match his bezels.

Just had the EXACT same problem putting new gauges in Newmanator's boat. Ordered angled trim rings from CP Performance. Flat will work too but it's personal preference. Was just gonna do a flat bezel for the tach but he decided to go angled all the way across. Looks like all the gauges are coming out of the boat...again :beat

Thanks guys, I'm gonna try the angled dealio from Rex. If it fits i'll change them all out so they match. I figure I better try black.
