A motor boat like yours can be make in wood? or must be in "plastic'' (i dont now the name of "resina" in english ![]() ![]() ![]() Posted by: Havasu Doug on July 04 2005,6:11 pm Welcome to the ![]() ![]() While many of us have assembled our motors, I can't think of anyone that has built a wooden hull here. The majority of us have professionally built fiberglass hulls. While most of our boats came with a working engine, many of us have rebuilt our engines at one time or another. Your project sounds very interesting, though, and I hope you will share with us any progress you make. ![]() Good luck with your project. ![]() Posted by: mspencer55 on July 04 2005,6:32 pm You can build aboat from wood, fiberglass, aluminum, steel or concrete...your choice. I have personally used wood to build a 9 foot & 14 foot boats (runabouts) You might take a look at www.glenl.com. They sell plans and other stuff to the home builder market. Hope this helps.
