Cam bearings and brass freeze plugs included but not installed..   The cylinders have a light rust in them from sitting, so i sprayed some oil in them and that is what you see all puddled up.  I was going to build it for my project boat but found a engine that runs soooooooooooo........ i need it gone, out of my way.... Ok yes the wife is bitchin. Somebody give it a good home   Block looks better  in real life than in the pics. I spent $400 im looking for $300 OBO be reasonable.. Posted by: Removed Account on May 31 2008,4:05 pm I dont know  all i know is i went to hang out at the river and watched all the boats run up and down and it really bummed me out. I found a 454 on Craigslist so i called on it. This dude is almost close enough to be my neighbor. But anyways it was running when he pulled it out of a tow truck from Vegas. The story is the truck was recovering a car that went into a ditch  and doing so when the truck went to pull it up, it pulled the truck down with it and wrecked the tow truck. He was going to use it in a camaro build, but with gas prices going higher he said he will stick with the small block 350..  Block is .030 lots of carbon on the pistons and heads. Must have ran really rich.. Lifters looked new, no marks. I didnt get to pull the pan off, but he thinks its a 4bolt main.. No i didnt look at the plug by the filter to see if it was a bigger one Im hoping for a drop in engine, just change the oil pan , intake and run it....... And if it last a month or the season, i will rebuild it during the down time in winter..... No i dont have it, i could only give him a down payment... I just spent $400 on the other block and the wifes B-day is tomorrow I dont think she will fall for the "Honey look what i bought you"  OH YA........... 2sav Posted by: GoFastRacer on June 01 2008,6:22 am So that means it has a cast pistons, cast crank and 3/8 bolt rods. Better check piston to wall clearance, cast pistons run tight and in  a boat you need more clearance. Maybe the cylinder walls are worn though!.. Anymore looking at the block isn't a sure way to find out if it's a 4 bolt or not, so many 2 bolts have been converted to 4 bolt you just don't know!.. Block is going to the machine shop for cleaning and cam bearings..
