Hey everyone! :jumpie

Just to let you know that Jason from Wicked and Wet Magazine has shown some interest in covering HDF in his magazine. :jumpie  He has been a registered member here for a while and some of you are familiar with him already.

I think this is an excellent opportunity for us as a whole. :good Individually, there are possible opportunities to be included in the article.  I'll let Jason get more specific, but I just wanted to let you know that I am behind this and I think it's a great opportunity for HDF! :good

Not sure how many models would fit on my boat, but this seems like a good opportunity to find out. Only for the good of HDF of course. I have no personal interest in seeing a few or a lot of absolutely beautiful women wearing next to nothing on my boat at all. Oh fock, who am I kidding. :hitit

Yup that's right Doug! We're going to be doing a special feature on HavasuDoug.com and the forum. You've been around for about 7 years now and have made quite and impact on the boating scene along the Colorado River. HDF has become an underground fixture in the boating community and we'd like to help celebrate and promote all that you're about. Maybe we can help bring some more people over to your site!

We're going to do an interview with The D Man but we'd also like to get some of the members input. If you feel like it, drop a message in this thread. Tell us how long you've been a member and what keeps you coming back day after day, year after year; what brought you to the site originally and how the site has impacted your over all boating experience.

In addition to the article, we're always looking for some WICKED boats to shoot and girls/models too. We're trying to get all of this years shoots done before the boats get put away for the winter. Our boating season lasts all year long. I know there's some pretty nice boats "floating" around out there especially with in the HDF family. So we're asking if anyone in the community would be interested in having their boat shot for an issue in Wicked & Wet? We can provide the boat owners with a few high resolution images from the shoot in case they want to have a poster made or something like that.

As far as models go we're looking for real girls who love boating and water sports and all that goes along with it to feature. I know from seeing the HDF Bikini Team there are some nice looking ladies that frequent the site too. If you know some ladies that might want to make a few extra bucks modeling please feel free to contact me direct at jason@wickedandwet.com.

A feature on the HDF Bikini Team would be a good feature to go along with the HDF story too.

So to summarize, Havasu Doug info, HDF members Wicked boats and models... Thanks for the space to spam this info Doug!

Oh man that is so cool!!!!! But I'm sad cuz I've never heard of the mag. or even seen it, then again in my neck of the woods all we have on the mag rack is "Hot snow shovel mag" and "101 ways to remove snow" LOL. But I'm happy for you all and hope to see it on the shelf someday.

He really knows his stuff in regards to boats. :good  He has many years of experience and is known by many in the industry and racing circles.

My main contribution is that I have provided a place for guys like Art to communicate.  I don't know a tenth of what Art knows about boats, and it's the guys like Art that make this place a great source of information. :good

In addition to his boating knowledge, Art is also a forum leader here.  He helps out a great deal in the management of HDF with his forum leader powers. :)
