Well a couple months ago I gota call from the lake saying my boat cover got killed by a major wind storm we had. OK thanks for calling :phone Planned about 4 times to go and get it, needs some TLC anyway. Was really set to go last Saturday then the football playoffs got in the way  :drink

Now we are in for about 3-4 wet Winter storms in a row. And probably 4-6 inches a rain in the next week. :(  I leave the plug out of it so it should drain but I can just about see what a mess it will be if and when I get up there. :eek

For those of you who don't know I keep my boat at a small lake thats lets say is a 8 hour round trip away :banghead

Well at least you won't have a boat pool. On the up swing, the first few minutes of rain will knock the dust down and the rest of the time raining will wash the boat out.  :D

Back in the "good ol' days" we left Magic up at Apache all spring and into summer. Got a call one day that the cover had ripped and blown half off (It was the shipping cover).

They, on thier own, re-secured the cover, and put one of those cheapo blue tarps on it, and were asking if we would be up anytime soon to fix it better, or did I want them to do it....

Yup, case o' beer to Mike up there for that one!  :good

Maybe You Should Have Them Put The Plug Back In And Make Sure The Bilge Pump Is Still Working. That Way, When The Lake Level Goes Up, At Least It Can Still Float ......

I thought about UPSing a cover up to them but that will make me even less likely to go and get it before Spring. It needs an oil change and a good cleaning, especially now. Boats kinda of a beater any who. It'll just add more character :cool

I didn't know paddles needed oil changes? :stupid
