Hi, folks
I know it's been a while, but the car biz has consumed me.
I am looking for usher help on the street party, usual bennies apply, banquet, shirts, CD, etc. and of course you pick the 7 trophy winners of the street party. I would need your help from 10am - 1pm on Thursday (park em and pick em) shoot me a PM here if you want to help.

This years DSSP is huge, far above any other street party of the past, it's the year of "double", double the time (noon - 10pm) double the boats (118 vs 09's 72 boats), double the food (46 vendors up from 24 for 09), and yes double the port a poties, we are including the "Market on Main" this year so there will be a farmers market as well as the boat stuff.
The big boys and their toys are back

yea a Wed night meeting   might be in order.
I just made the call last night, it's now the "Double Down" street party for 2010 because we are doubling down.
Twice the size
Twice the boats
Twice the time
Twice the food
Twice the port a poties.
no I am not kidding either, we are so over booked we had no choice but to add another 2k ft, so it will run from Rivera (black bear) to Acoma, if the city approves my new plan today.
It's not just the Street Party, the whole Poker Run has EXPLODED!!!! this year, The Nautical and Rotary Park are out of control, I think it's 5 bands at last count. just when you think there is no way to improve/grow Desert Storm, it grows 100%, THIS IS THE ONE YOU WANT TO ATTEND!!!!

Actually no, I've been busting butt on the DS After Party all day. Got some great stuff for the auction. Couple of items are so big that they won't fit in most peoples pick-up trucks. Mr. Leach of Eliminator has said we can have anything we want. I think I'll run by tomorrow and pick out a couple of nice boats. I don't know the values of half this stuff but I bet we're upwards of $10K for just today. Not bad for a few hours work if I say so myself.
