Hey all...

I tried searching but didn't find any posts on this.

When I was at Topock Marina at the end of April, I got a flyer showing a planned rebuild of the place. I guess to compete with Pirate Cove.
Has there been any discussion about this? Like when this will start or be completed? I heard it's a few years out.

I liked the look of the plans, but personally I'd like it if they were to leave the existing bar/resturant and build around it.

The links I posted are just the 3 pics that GFR posted up. Can you see them above. There is no text to go with them.

The current restaurant will be open to at least Labor Day. They usally close for the Winter not long after that anyway.
Permits have already been pulled.
Should be done by Spring of 2013.

On the last pic I can see the train in the back ground so this is why I think it's on the north/east side of I-40

Heading W on the 40, Topock is the last of ramp before the River, Moabi is the 1st off-ramp over the River. Both are on the North side of the 40.

Notice in the pics the size of the launch ramp and parking area compared to the main parking, plenty of room for trucks.
A line is forming for the peeps that want to rent boats. One of the biggest Wal-Marts in the country is only 30 minutes away.
