There was some sort of trouble on the River involving them damn lice last Sunday. All of the rescue personel/equipment came into the Avi Marina and took care of one O' them idiots! :rolleyes

Boating mishap injures 1

A 31-year-old man from San Diego was flown to a Las Vegas hospital with â€œsignificantâ€ head injuries Tuesday after a personal watercraft collided with him while he was in the water, according to sheriffâ€™s officials.

Mohave County Sheriffâ€™s Office Sgt. Doug Schuster said he would not release the victimâ€™s name until the family had been notified.

Schuster said the victim was riding a rented PWC on Lake Havasu with two friends â€” each on their own PWCs â€” when the victim fell off of his PWC.

Schuster said his friends preliminary reported that the victim was trying to splash to the left and to the right and he could have overcorrected throwing himself from the craft.

One of his friends then collided with him.

Schuster said alcohol was not a factor in the incident, which occurred around 4:54 p.m. near Pittsburgh Point on the outskirts of the Island. The victim was flown to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center in Las Vegas.

PWC accident in Havi yesterday...

Lake Havasu City - Â Mohave County Sheriffâ€™s Waterways deputies responded to a Jet Ski accident on Lake Havasu in the area of Site Six late Tuesday (6/8) afternoon. Approximately 4:52 p.m., deputyâ€™s responded to the scene of where a male victim fell off a Jet Ski and was run over by another Jet Ski. Both Jet Ski operators are friends. Apparently, the victim turned sharp and sprayed the other Jet Ski operator and in doing so the victim fell off into the water and was ran over. The victim was airlifted to Sunrise Medical Center in Las Vegas. This accident remains under investigation.
