The other day Lindsey was going to the market and asked if I need anything. I said, yes and gave her my list of stuff. Well when she came home she told me that she has bad news for me. Albertsons no longer carries one of the items on my list.

I knew right then and there what it was. Most things I can live without. But there are two things that I canâ€™t live without in life. 1 Signal Malt Scotch and 2 Cinnamon Pot Tarts. I was pretty sure it wasnâ€™t the scotch because that wasnâ€™t on the list.

One of the major staples in my highly nutritious diet is Cinnamon Pop Tarts. I have two for breakfast almost every morning. It keeps me fit, healthy and satisfied. Now those commie bastards at Albertsons have decided to take one of my dietary necessities away. This is complete discrimination! The man is trying to starve me to death. So I say down with the no Pop Tart Eating corporate food giants!

Almost same story here.

Albertsons carried Castillo Rum Dark. Priced right, tastes great.

They dropped it because the manager said the company wants to promote it's own booze lines.

Says he's got a lot of complaints about it.

An E mail to Albertsons customer service got no response.

Albertson/Save on label scotch, Rum and Tokillya.

Daughter said they don't carry her brand of plugs anymore either,, so that does it.

Well I have to say that I have had that problem before. I put a couple of PopTarts in my Mom's toaster and then went back to watching TV. I thought, "I haden't heard a toaster pop up in in a while, I should go look". :stupid

HOLY CRAP! :eek

The flames were two feet high and it was starting to burn the cabinets above. I grabbed the fire extinguisher and UN-LOADED :guns

it on that dumb little toaster. I had that white powder all over the kitchen. What a mess. By time my Mom came back in to the kitchen it was all over. She had know idea what just happend, she just walked into a powder covered kitchen. Her first reaction, :angry

What the hell did you do! Once I had explained what happend she left to work with these words, "That's your mess, you clean it up, and DON'T BURN THE HOUSE DOWN".

I'm pretty sure Albertsons is one of the stores where if you just ask the manager they'll special order for there customers etc.. Weren't they the ones that got the little coke bottles for that guy on the commercial?? Or was that another chain?

Aberlour 10 year

Macallan 12 year

Dalmor 12 year

Will any of these do? If so, I'll PM you the stock # to take to your local store.

The Murphy's will be a little harder because we go through a vendor for that. The same vendor might not be around in your area.

I think I will be OK for Scotch for a little while I am heading out to Scotland this Friday. :good

My local store use to carry Murphyâ€™s and then stopped. Lindsey asked the manager if they could order some more and the said that they switched vendors and the new one didnâ€™t carry it. SO I guess I am out of luck on that. Oh well I guess I can always drink Guinness.
