Well for the past 8 months I have seen us slow down, was not sure what was going down, I kept saying somethings not right, we haul food and everybodys got to eat, right!!! well Friday they suit had a meeting and said they they are loosing $200,000 a month and need to combined trucks to save money, ok hello, why don't you go out and get more customers dorks, so they are cutting back on loads, we have been hauling half loads for awhile now and when I talk to driver from FL. TX. and GA. IL. and the east coast they are taking 2 to 3 loads a day into stores, we are only taking 1 every other day, so that should tell you how bad it is here in Northeast Ohio, yes we are the only WH right now that is taking a big hit. So starting this week I will be done by 7pm and I start at 11 am, what a work day. :rolleyes

Told wife we just need to hold on till after the new year, then if it don't get better were out of here, thats if I can find something.

Lots of bad news, First off the airline merger is going to lay alot of people off up here in cleveland, and thats going to hurt this area big time, my work is starting to let some go now, well the place I run for, and alot are moving to other area's and staying with the company, and we the drivers are very slow and not getting any work, this is not good, I'm now starting to look for something else here or out west now, I mean I'm really hitting the books hard now I'm not loosing what I have, not happening, also my buddy who was out of work for over a year got in with FedX a month or so ago and is being let go cuz of it being slow around here. :confused

I no the big orange trucks you see out on the road had a yard not to far from here closed up to and move it south.

So are you guy's seeing a recovery out west yet or not, does it look like thing are picking up, they said on the news the other day the cleveland has not recovered from the fall out back in 78 when it went into default. I don't see much of a recovery this time around either. :rolleyes

I saw that bulk freight is up, as are train car loads across teh US.... Hopefully Truckloads will be up soon too as the warehouses fill and distribution is needed to retail....

Well my brother is a O/O and said it is picking up, and I talked to a few guy's that haul campers and they said they been busy. But Not ready to just ship yet till I see this is going to last. Remember it may not be the best job but everybody's got to eat.
