That sucks sorry to hear, cold up here in places too just saw on the news it's only 18 in Snottsdale on the golf course, 33 under the patio, this $hit sucks!...

You can say that again... Thermometer says it's mid-teens outside right now... wrapped the exosed pipes with a heating pad and turned it on low, we'll see what happens.
Haven't had anything freeze up since I live in my 5th wheel in Albuquerque... that was a loooooong time ago.

And it gets even colder just before the sun comes up, been lucky so far here hasn't been cold enough to freeze the pipes, windshield all iced up on the truck though!..

Way to avoid busted pipes is to shut the water off and open all the faucets to allow for expansion!..

Or just turn on a faucet to a small stream..moving water shouldnt freeze.... But then again I have changed out about 50 burst pipe sections in Pinetop so far this year..... |
That works too but only if the water flows fast enough to overcome freezing, depending on how cold it is you could waste quite a bit of water!..

I would, takes all of 30 seconds way easier than replacing pipes!.

When I was living in ABQ, it was in a 5th wheel. Even wrapping the water hose in heat tape, and it would still freeze. So I cracked the faucet in the bathroom one night... except my sewer hose froze... guess what I woke up to the next day? Yep, a bathtub (it was a big enough trailer to have a full size bath) 1/4 full of grey water.
Good times....
