I have one of them there Ronco's. Works pretty good. Made a crap load of jerky both beef and turkey with it. Dried some herbs as well. Just don't use there receipe for the jerky. come up with your own concoction to marinade it in. Any other info you need just ping me.

I have a Nesco, similar to this one dehydrator
I haven't used it in a few years, but I recall I had no issues with it. Seemed to work just fine. I see they make a 1000 watt one now, that might be the way to go.

Sold Hammerking and started 2 new businesses. One marketing and consulting and the other sidexside performance parts. Still teaching. Love the teaching part, don't care for the clientelle I have.
It's hard to encourage kids to graduate high school so they can get a decent job when no one at home has a job at all and they do just fine. Very few have any kind of work ethic.

There ya go.
The things we value, like a decent car, healthy food, gym memberships, a bedroom for each of your children . . . they just don't care about any of that because they've never known it. It's not important for them to obtain it. Why do you need a boat/quad/sxs/mountain bikes, etc, when you have TV with 500 channels?

Takes lots of both courage and sacrifice... Â Our school has made significant effort to get the household involved in the kid's education...
Oh...Santa didn't bring me a dehydrator...

In most of the country it's different than here in the Southwest.
I'm thinking (if I'm wrong I'll do something else) that it's going to be a lot easier in Montana. The 3 districts I'm looking at don't have a high enough number of kids in poverty to make them a "counted" group on the test scores, 100% of them speak English, and, if you know anything about test scores, 800 is the magic number to get the feds off your back, and these districts are all between 820-900.
Oh, and the average class size is 22. Here in my district, it's 38. 65 if you are lucky enough to teach P.E.

I certainly wish you well with the move to Montana...
Our school still has not broken through the 700 level... but we are improving 2x% each cycle...
Yep, very tough to give quality education/attention when you have these large class sizes...
