I have a neighbor two houses down with a set up much like that.....lights up the sky at night. He ads something every year.
I do notice many cars driving by, stopping, crowds of folks enjoying it.
Its festive so its no big deal, after all, its only for a month. :good

We had two neighbors like that a few years ago, even tour buses used to come by, but I guess the economy took a hit on them too and can't afford the electric bill, both been down to just a small tree in the window the last couple of years.. :rolleyes
