Just a shitty thing all around :( The girls gone, the guys life is ruined and the car is gone. Get a DD people or call a cab.

"SAN TAN VALLEY- A 27-year-old woman died in a single-vehicle crash Sunday night near San Tan Valley.

According to Pinal County Sheriff's Office spokesman Jim Knupp, the woman was a passenger in a 1965 Ford Roadster driven by 21-year-old Joseph Wilson.

PCSO said Wilson was driving at a high rate of speed heading westbound on Sundance Road around 11:26 p.m., when he lost control of the vehicle, causing it to roll and catch on fire.  When fire crews arrived, they found the woman's body in the passenger seat of the car.

When deputies arrived on scene, they found Wilson, who initially told deputies his last name was Thompson because he feared he had a warrant for his arrest, Knupp said.

Deputies say Wilson pulled out a 'wad of cash' and attempted to hand it to a deputy while saying 'it doesn't have to be like this.'  Wilson also reportedly told deputies he didn't know what he was going to do, because the car was his life.

Witnesses say Wilson was drinking with the woman at a bar, before offering her a ride home, Knupp said.

“While Joseph Wilson may have thought his car was the most important thing in his life, he will soon realize his decision to get behind the wheel of his vehicle while impaired by alcohol and causing a crash, which claimed the life of his passenger will be the worst decision he could have made," said Pinal County Sheriff Paul Babeu.  "Earlier today, Wilson was booked into the Maricopa County Jail for Manslaughter, Bribery and False Reporting to a Law Enforcement Agency. Alcohol impaired crashes are completely avoidable. If you're going to drink have a designated driver.”

PCSO is waiting for the woman's identification from the Medical Examiner's Office to confirm her identity.   :(
