Evacuations

My nephew has lived in Running Springs for over twenty years and been through more than one of these.
He spent most of yesterday on heavy equipment assisting fire service cutting fire lines. They have cleared out livestock and all personal stuff out, His plan is to stay until throw him out.

Dang! My parents owned a lot in Green Valley Lake for many years. I'll be monitoring this.

My nephew lives at the end of running springs, Old School road, on the way to Green Valley, And they also own a cabin in Green Valley.
Picture is from Rim of the world looking back towards Running Springs

Stupid tree huggers won't clear the forest, or do anything to mitigate fires. then blame climate change for wild fires.

Drag them tree huggers out and fight the fires. Then they might finally figure out the forest service is on to something by doing back burns to.prevent the big ones.
