You know it's really a shame the amount of effort they put into that website.. :(  

That guy Craig just lets the thing run on auto pilot, and every month or so "tweaks" a little something here and there..

It has so much potential, but alas on autopilot..  the Crazies really do run the assylum.  :(

Can't say I disagree with that assessment.  It is kind of a shame.  But I guess we do what we can with whats we got.  It is still a decent site even though it could be much better.  Problem is I think that its an ugly stepchild to the owner so no effort beyond its existance is supplied, demanded or even encouraged.  IMO it isn't Craigs fault.  He's just the dude that landed in the tech seat.  My impression is that it's Kevin that keeps it going and Kevin isn't the boss nor does he share the beliefs all the time of the boss with regards to the website or it's importance.  So like I said, we do the best with what we got and that's prolly all it's gonna be.

The site has great potential, but HotBoat is not willing
to devote Craig to it full time.  It needs a full time
web manager, exclusive to managing the upgrades and putting
the time and development into keeping up with the current
changes and needs of the users....Its kind of Kevin's stepchild and maybe more of a pain in the ass to him than its worth sometimes.  Too bad actually, but I dont think its the monster problem people make it out to be even with the minimal management attention it gets.
