Just got a call from a guy that said one of my trucks went to Albertsons and that he and his fellow strikers would not use our company if we did not respect there pickett lines...

Thing must be getting bad out there for this guy to call my office...

I havent really been close to crossing or heard what the people were saying with my own ears. But I went to the auto parts store here by work, there is a Vons right next to it....  "GO TO RALPHS" "DONT SHOP HERE"

Oh BTW, We just got are workmens comp incress and it is 50% more.. Almost $30 on the hundred... Don't get me started on this shit.  Running a company in CA. is not easy.
And some one must pay the price to do business in this state.. Who will it be...??????????????? :puke

Workman’s comp rates are a Joke! Ours just keeps going up and we have never had a single claim against it. You gotta love doing business in California!   :rolleyes

I was going to start a business -  cant ' find any one who wants to 1099 it ... riverliver you ever think about leasing the equipmnet to the driver and have them call you for work - they don't have ot pay w/c  they Pay you for the truck and name - they  would have to pay insurance also .    Then they pay there own taxes -  bla bla bla -  you take a percentage  for brokering a job ..  might want to look into it -  california is out rages - Only place i would want to live in the states ..  so you have to pay ..

Hey, while we are on the subject of doing business in California.....  I was at StaterBro's last week and some guy had petitions in front of the store... one of them was for small business owners and he said by signing the petition it would help to a proposition on the ballet for small business owner to NOT have to be responsible for insuring thier employees.... I guess Davis signed some thing up there saying that business owners would have to be responsible for 80% of thier employees insurance, this prop would over turn that.  Has anyone heard anything about this?  

I signed anyway, my father is a small business owner here in Cali, I use to work for him and I know how hard it is to stay in bus.  

Hopefully Arnold will help the little guys out while he's representing us as Gov.  I want to see the little guy make it, Like RiverLiver, my dad, and others that have been struggling to stay in business here in California.  :)
