Hello to all of you on this wonderful board. I had told people on this board about our son Shane being in a ice hockey tournament over at Disney Ice durring the Thanksgiving holiday.
We had went to our 3rd game this morning and we won so our record was 3-0-0. There were only 2 teams undefeated and we were one of them.

We had taken a break and went to eat lunch and then the boys played again at 2:00PM. The game was very good and the boys played awesome the final score was 4-2 we won.
Shane has wanted a Championship Trophy for 2 years and has settled for 2nd the past 4 tournaments. As they were handing out the trophys it was time for the MVP award and to my surprise they called #18 Shane Davis with 1 goal and 2 assist as the MVP of the Aliso Viejo Eagles.
I was so happy I was crying for our son. I was such a proud MOM today. To see one of his dreams come true for him, left me speachless. I will post a picture by Monday night.

Shane is 11 and they are checking into the boards now and tonight he is complaing of being a little sore now. We told  him welcome to the checking world of ice hockey.. He loves it!!

That's okay. I surprised Shane by having a good friend of mine bring her girls show up for his final game.  He was very happy to say the least.

He will be playing another tournament Dec 26 thru the 31st.  If you guys are interested in coming. I do believe we will be having a New Years Eve party here and it wil be kid friendly. I'll keep ya posted..
