Damn I hate not being able to work! :angry   Seems like every day is the same and they kind of run into each other.  I have NEVER been this bored in my lifetime! :(

No way Art.  Wife gets mad at me when I do and I have already seen 1 guy out here "filming" me :laugh   You'd think they're looking for a winner on "America's Funniest Videos" :rotflmao  :rotflmao

This definitely sucks though.  I currently have 3 boats sitting in my driveway and I can't do a thing to them.

Yeah, I hear ya.  Thing that's messed up though is I love my job and enjoy working, but the Doctors won't release me to go to work.  I'm currently losing about $2k per month by not working and this whole thing has been an emotional roller coaster.  Thinking about taking up a new hobby....Jigsaw puzzles :eek  :D

There is no light duty in my job.  Lotsa driving involved as well as bending, lifting, etc.  I went down with the injury on August 15 and have attempted to go back to work 2 times since then.  Since the pain meds that I am taking are a narcotic base, I cannot take them while driving (or risk DUI) and the sitting still while driving tends to get a little painful at times.
They can try to catch me lieing all they want.....the proof is in the MRI.  They are now talking about removing 2 disc (I have 3 bad) and replacing them with some new experimental plastic discs that pivot.  I don't care what happens at this point as long as I can get back to work ASAP

Or you could start a forum :laugh  Your out with a back injury  BBT. I have lower back probs that just about kill me when they act up. But normally I feel fine. :)

Yeah, between MX racing and working at the mines, I tore mine up early. "Knock on wood" mines been pretty good for the last year or so. I dropped about 30 pounds and I think that helps.

That definetly bites the big one.  

Around here they get guys on light-duty as soon as they can, mostly shuffeling paper work and shit like that.

The docs give you any idea when they'll release you for work again??

Yeah back injuries suck alright and the weight don't help, I blew my lower disc when I was pushing 300lbs, the chyropractor fixed me up but it didn't take much to wipe it out. I'm 160 now still have to be careful but I can sure do a lot more now!.... :good
