So I have a 6.0 reader program but I want to be able to put text on the document. Is there a way to do that without buying a full version Acrobat 6.0 ?? :comp

Man I have skull cramps :drink

So I downloaded a free 30 day trial version 6.0 from Adobe. Went smooth, then I try to modify this application I'm wanting to fill out and WTF, dam thing is read only :angry

So I teach myself how to modify the doc using text boxes from my saved file :comp

It was only a 5 page app :beat

and about 200 text boxes. All this because I don't have a typewriter anymore.

All said and done, it came out ok :good

There is no official "Shareware" available because that is set by Adobe. However, there is "unofficial" shareware available via peer to peer connections. Ie; Kazaa!, etc. I have never used Kazaa myself but know a few people that have and they can pretty much get any software there.

My kid was a big Kazaa guy for awhile, man was that place full of spiders and bugs :beat

Kaaza sucks big time, it will fk up your puter so bad with all that garbage that you'll end up having to clean it out. :angry

I use Morpheus, it's on the same Kneutella server so you can get the same thing as Kaaza!. All it has is a search bar and you can remove it afterwards but it's a pretty good search deal though!.. :good

I've been running Kazaa Lite 2.4.2 for a few months now and older versions for much longer. I haven't had any problems besides an occasional virus or trojan horse that my virus program catches and isolates before anything bad happens. That would happen on any client accessing Kneutella network. Besides that I run Ad-aware, Spybot, ZoneAlarm firewall, etc. and still have had no hiccups. Am I just lucky ? What experiences have you had with it that were bad?

I heard the Kaaza light is better?, I have all those programs and used the full version and I never got any virusus but I would get so many pop ups that it would lock up my machine and nothing would stop them. Since I switched to Morpheus, I don't have any problems!.. :good

one problem with Kazaa! is that it is the main file sharing program that the RIAA is targeting. I think all of the Lawsuits that the RIAA has filed have been based on kazaa users :guns
