I go to many forums every day. Some I post in alot, some I post in a little, some I don't post at all but just lurk. Which one is your favorite and why?

I chose Havasu Doug because it is a friendly boating atmosphere and I've found that everyone try's to help everyone without harrassment and everyone seems to treat everyone with respect. Furthermore, I have never seen anyone on this forum talking $hit about someones boat unless joking.

I like alot of forums for different reasons, but my overall favorite is this one by far :good

HD's place is great I like to call it home but I enjoy the pure volume of info available on HotBoat, I have never really participated in the drama. I also like OSO they have a east coat influence I enjoy and I'm a closet offshore wanabe.

This is a no-brainer for me. This board is my favorite for 2 reasons.

Firstly, it is set up just the way I like it. (How did that happen? :stupid

)

Secondly and more importantly, I like the group of peeps and the style in which they post here. Peeps seem to post less dramatically here with little or no quarreling.

I post on a lot of the boards and Dougâ€™s was not the first board I joined but it is the one I always come back to. I like the little group of people here. We all make a conscious effort not to start any drama and get along (something not seen on any other board except maybe KHâ€™s) If I had to choose one this would be the one.

As a matter of fact this summer will be my 30th birthday and Lindsey and I were talking about having a get together for it at the lake and inviting members of the boards. I thought that it would be fun but one of my stipulations was that it was just the members of Dougâ€™s. So I guess that shows how I feel about this place. :good

Better start working on those plans there Brad. I know I have all my river dates set up until October, even then I still pretty much know what dates I'll be going out. Thats if we are invited. lol

Dougs site my #1 choice if you cant tell from my post count.
KH's new site is good for some quality post whoring & all around fun.
RRL too me is a mix of all the boards.
Barneys is good to check out some good T&A
OP6 is cool to keep up with the op6 crew
Hot Boat is good for drama and more drama
Kwicherbichen I like the site set up, but I just dont post on it.

Those are the only sites I lurk & post on in order.

I had a great time last year.

Even though a small group posts here on a regular basis, the key peeps on most of the other boards are registered here too. That could end up being a pretty big trip! :good

I started out over at hot boat and still post there but could care less about the folks there, evryone i have met from the boards have come from Dougs, and they are a great bunch of folks, it's always a pleasure to see them and meet up someplace, there's no BS'n going on , well not SERIOUS Bs'n, no chest thumping, and trashing, again not serious trashing going on here, The No Drama theme is here to stay at Dougs, thanks doug for putting up with all of us here and keep up the good work.
