I was able to access the net thru MSN Explorer, but everytime I try thru IE I see its looking for incredifind.com and it never hooks up. Ran Spyhunter and Norton. Still seems a problem with the DownloadMSCache(virus) dealio. I've been messing with, I've been hunting for b.exe files but I don't find any :banghead

Help :confused

I can sit here and tell ya 100 different things to try/do but the downloadmscache virus/spy will probably still be there.  Sounds like it's time for a major registry edit or reformatting.  here is a link to info on it and how to get rid of it. http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcente....he.html
Once you have gone through the procedure, I'd recommend going to MS Windows update page and get all updates available.  It sounds like it may be exploiting the JAVA VB hole in Windows.
Another way is to backup everything that you want to keep, and reformat your HDD and reinstall your OS.
You know, Art is down near you down there....maybe he can have a look see at the PC for ya.

Me too!  And when you can't talk folks into formatting, there's always the "trick" of loosening up the RAM, and when it doesn't boot, tell them the hard drive went out and needs replaced.  The SIMPLE way to talk people into formatting :good  :rotflmao  :rotflmao

:rotflmao I've done that a few times :laugh works everytime :good I wish people would learn to back up their shit though, that's what scares a lot of em, when I ask if they have their important stuff backed up, they panic and don't know what I'm talking about! :stupid When I build someone a machine I always recommend an second hard drive for backup, that's got to be the easiest way to save files!.. :good
