I have a general question for the group.  We have been looking at buying a place to stay at the river.  We have looked all over Parker and Havasu and can't find exactly what we want...near the water, doesn't cost 5 godzillion dollars, you get the idea.  We keep hearing that we should check out Bullhead.  I have never spent any time boating above Havasu.  I hear quicker water, colder water, more water level fluctuations, etc.  What do you think?  We still want those fun, party, drinking kind of fun days but wonder if we will be too far up the river to enjoy the fun.  Any help would be much appreciated.  Thanks :D

Not a very long drive to Havasu from that area in general and/or boat ride. Water does rise/fall more noticably. I suppose its all in what taste you have and where you prefer to be....each location has its pros/cons depending on who you ask.
I'm very glad to have my place in Havasu. Wouldn't trade it for a Parker or BHC home.....I like the lake and what it offers my whole family.

RRM has a house on the water by the Blue Water Casino in Parker. You should give him a PM. He could get you in touch with his family with prices ect. ect.

With normal conditions you can safely make it to the Avi hotel/casino but much north of that can be nerve racking...shallow areas and underwater hazards that I used to navigate with a jet ok. South all the way to Havasu is normally not an issue unless there is severe low water conditions like during this winter...

If you like to party like a rockstar I would say havasu is the place to be. I dont own there, but would like too, just because they have everything, and its not a far drive to other spots, such as Parker, Laughlin, Vegas...etc.  :good
