So I'm sittin here pondering how I'm gonna start padding Â posts and I feel the sudden urge to consume yet another cool frosty beverage. I meander down to the "Man Cave" where I keep the real cold beer and figure while I'm out here I should piss.( I have plenty of pissin spots)
About mid stream I hear something rattlin' in the bushes about 5 feet away. HHmmmmm. looks like a cat.WAIT! I don't have a black and white cat. That there is a skunk! :eek

So I finish pissin(what else would any beer drinkin man do) and walk up to the house to retreave my trusty shot gun so I can blow the bajesus out that little pole cat. :guns

Stupid ass skunk is still diggin in the dirt right where I left him soooooo I get real close like and.........BLAM blew that little fella's head clean off!

Holy shit that thing stinks :puke

That is by far 100 times worse then when they just walk by.
My beer even tastes skunky!!! :cry

well at least I did'nt get any on me

Nice work ! reminds me of being on my Dads ranch last year hunting for deer... well you cant really call it huntin since all of them (20 or so) come down the valley to pick the olive trees every mornin. I down there with a 30 O 6 and the little bambi looks at me from around the truck of an olive tree, so what do I do? Word of advice, they start taking reservations for campsites at South Shore CFW on April 1 at 7:00am. Â There will be a line of people at the North Shore store. Â They have a drawing every year to see who gets to pick first. Â I was lucky last year....I drew #1 and got the 4 best sites (IMO) Â I'll be there April 1st, as usual, standing in line at 7:00am

Who knows???? Last I heard, there were some date changes but have heard nothing else. I think the promotor isn't much of a promotor....... maybe We should try and get a race going there....with buoys also :good

From what I understand, the Water District says yes (they actually own the lake), the management says yes, (Gary is a Hot Boater too), The insurance company says yes, etc etc It's a great place to have races and it would be PACKED with competitors and spectators alike. Should be a good $$$ maker.

BTW, I'm out in the office this morning (next to his shop) and it still stinks!! We are infested with them. We had some traps set, but they are too smart for that, they just tunnelled right around the trap. We don't go out at night unless it's an emergency. A good friend of mine got sprayed about a year ago :laugh
