Well, we were out at CFW with the flatbottom yesterday.  Lotsa flatties and hydros there running.  I ran my flat a few times and am regretting it today.  When we got back home from CFW, the very first thing I did was put a for sale sign on my flatbottom.  It just hurts too much to drive it :(   Anyone wanna make a serious offer on it?????

I did ok in my Jet boat last sunday, so I'm thinking that we'll keep the jet and get a pontoon boat also (We saw a real nice one at the lake yesterday)

Well, ya win a few, lose a few ;)   We took our Jet Boat out last weekend and it wasn't near as painful ad the V-Drive was this weekend.  I'm pretty sure that for the most part I can run a Jet Boat OK.  It just hurts a little.  But the V-Drive, I've just given up hope on it :(   When we went out this weekend, I started out with relatively little pain, at least at the bearable level.  But after running the v-drive, it got to hurting pretty bad to where I was taking a Vicodin every 2 hours at the lake,  and the day after I could barely walk and had excuciating pain most of the day.

At least 1 good thing came from our trip to the lake this weekend.  We got to look at a really nice pontoon boat and have decided that we want one :good .  I fugure that we'll probably end up with a Jet boat or two and a pontoon boat.  I'm not gonna even try driving a flattie again.

I have even put my Biesemeyer Flatbottom up on EBay yesterday.  Now we'll just have to see if it sells

Had to do the same thing some years ago.  Gave up on my ol' bubble deck; just couldn't take the pounding.  Tri-toons are very nice in heavy water.

Just got the Yamaha last year (great deal), and it rides equally nice on the lake.  We needed something for ski, tube, etc.

Yeah, I hear ya.  The one we saw Saturday was nice.  It was an I/O and had 3 pontoons on it and it was pretty fast for a pontoon boat.  I don't think that it would have any problems pulling a skier or tube.

We've rented Tri-Toons the last few year's at Havasu.  They do scoot along.  The I/O is very nice.  Good tubin' and wakeboading.  It's just could not pull my F*t A** out...!!
