I'd give yourself a couple hours at least.  I once went from the London Bridge to Davis Dam at Lake Mohave and back in my 18.5 ft jet. :eek  I was paranoid about running out of gas, so I topped off at a few places as I found them.  Also, I cruised for such an extended time that I melted the jacket on my throttle control cable. :eek

I did the run from Laughlin to Park Moabi last year, and it was hairy in some spots. The water was barely deep enough in places to creep my boat through. This was in early August as well. Filling up at Needles Marina was kind of lame too. Their inlet to the pumps was WAY shallow, and you had to get on the horn to get someone to come down to unlock the gas pumps for you, which took about 30 minutes before someone showed up. If you are going to make this run, I would suggest being very careful along the way. -DD Out

I got one of them waterproof maps and it starts at "0" for Parker Dam and end at "82" for Davis Dam.

Here's the numbers:
Cat-Tail Cove - 2
London Bridge - 18
The SandBar - 32
Topock - 42
Needles Bridge - 52
Willow Valley - 58
River Bend - 72

The run from Bullhead to Needles is not the scenic and does have some rock bars.

Best bet: Launch in Needles and head south to the Sandbar, then on to Havasu if desired.  Sandy shallows as you enter the lake; just follow the crowd..!!

One more tip-in:
My buddy has a 26' deckboat stays in Laughlin and does launch/Moabi to Parker Dam and back all the time.  Gas at Havasu Marina both ways.  If he launches in Bullhead, he just runs around up there.

Our best trips with a group have been renting a pontoon at Moabi, load it up with all the gear/food/beverages, and cruise in the gorge to the Sandbar or find a beach area along the way.  That leaves the boats free for peeps and fun runs, or just tie 'em all together and float.

It don't get much better than this:
