Hey, don't get me wrong! I was born and raised in San Diego and lived there until 13 years ago and miss it dearly.

What I don't miss:

Outrageous car registration

Smog checks

Outrageous car insurance

Outrageous property tax

Paying property tax on my boat

Really outrageous state income tax

What I miss:

The beach

Glamis sand dunes

ocean fishing

going to Charger games (don't start)  :laugh

I heard on the news today that the levee break in Stockton is gonna affect the SoCal Water Supply.  Not sure how, that's just what it said on the news and I caught the tail end of the report.

To my knowledge there is no water shortage up here..yet.  I heard that Scaramento will have a problem later in the Summer because they released too much water from Folsom Lake during the Winter in anticipation of March and April rains that usually come but never came this year.  Folsom Lake already has a few boat ramps out of the water which normally doesn't happen until August or so, and the lake supplies alot of water to Sacramento and surrounding suburbs.  It won't affect where we live though. We'll have plenty of water for the year :good  :D
