This Saturday morning, a co-worker of mine and a couple of other friends are heading up river to Laughlin with our Sea-Doo's. There's about 5 of us going. Leaving the boat at home this time for a long all day trip from Site Six in Havasu to Laughlin. Can't wait. Never done this before. I'll have photos to follow....  :good

yeah it should be. the furthest I have ever gone from Havasu is the Topac bridge. Going way way beyond that this time. Should be fun.... Heading out at Site Six at 7am  :sleep

yeah sure if you'd like to get together and do this ride some weekend let me know. I have a 15 gallon tank in my Sea Doo GTX-DI so I pretty sure it can make it all the way up to Laughlin and back on one tank. I hope....

Should be a blast :good Kinda like a long desert ride on a bike but a lot cooler(like cold not kewl)  ;)

well I did the big ride. Rode all the up Davis Dam from Site Six in Havasu Sat morning. Took me about 2 and a half hours to get there. 125 miles round trip. The water was very smooth going up river but coming back it was very rough. Ton of people on the river over the weekend. I had a total blast and hope to do that ride again soon...

My sea-doo gets terrible gas mileage. Left site six at 8 bars which is a full tank (15 gallons) and when I got to Laughlin I had 2 bars remaining at 63 miles since Havasu. Something like 5 miles to a gallon and it's even a fuel injected two-stroke. I had to refuel in Laughlin at $3.04 a gallon and out of $20 I got 6.3 gallons.  :angry But I had to get back. The total round trip mileage was 125 miles from site six to davis dam and back to site six. I had a really good time. Here are some photos, I'm not in any of these since I was the only one with the camera. But the blue Sea-Doo GTX-DI is mine...
