Just my $.02 but I am so sick of these bone heads that think it is ok to sit in the middle of the river/lake and do circles with out looking. :angry

You could not make me any happier then if they would ban them completely from the water

The photo shoot that almost didn't happen:

Last summer at Parker, we were on our way upriver to an HDF Bikini Team photo shoot. HBJet had a boat full of peeps and so did I. Anyway, we were cruising along and preparing to pass a couple of teenaged chicks on a PWC, also, going upriver. When I was almost even with them, they made an abrupt turn TO THE LEFT right into my path! They didn't even look before making the turn. It's a no-brainer to look before making a turn just like we do in our cars everyday. :confused

We came very close to hitting them, but fortunately we didn't. They seemed to be clueless regarding other boat traffic on the river. I just think it's too easy for an inexperienced rider/driver to get on a PWC and treat it as a toy.

Every weekend on the water is the same with these frickin lake lice, They just don't get it :angry

Put them on there on little lake and let them run into each other.

I was hit by one while waiting to put the boat on the trailer in front of branson, and have had to many close calls with these focker. Then they think it is cool the spray a wall of water on your boat. Wonder how the would like to get roosted at 60mph.

I'm glad I've done most of my boating where the water is to cold for these fockers to be around much.

But, Lake Powell is a different story. We always went to the north end of the lake where you can pull the camper/motor home right down on the water and set up camp (kinda like the Lake San Antonio deal). Most people would be spread out about 50 - 75 feet between camps. So one day this pack of kids show up with Jet-Ski's (the stand up ones, the kind you really have to ride, not just sit there), squeezes in between our rig and the neighbors and procedes to party like it was their last weekend of freedom.

Anyway, to make a long story short, these little focks spend the entire weekend just outside the wakelless speed zone doing donoughts and focking around, make strafing passes at boats, focking with skiiers in the water... you get the idea. Oh yeah, the icing on the cake was the "Tuned" pipes these guys were running. Oh, for the love of God, no one wants to hear a 2 stroke making a bunch of noise, all weekend long, 14 hours a day.

It pretty much ruined the whole weekend and left me wanting to run every focker that has one over with the boat.

yeah,pretty much at least once a day no matter where we're at boating at least one close call. if i had a diverter i'm absolutly sure a would be hosing these kooks on a regular basis and cliaming ignorance :guns

that's just too bad! I have a Sea-Doo and I love it. It's the boats all the time that's in my way! HUM let me think up one for boats here. Â

Well if it makes any of you feel better i roosted the hell out of some of the idiots that cam too close or were just plain stupid, i am tired of having to have my friggin head on a swivel everytime i go to a lake where the lice are not contained like at Castaic and Buena Vista, i know they have every right to be there and i respect that, but you wouldn't stop in the middle of the freeway and do donuts, or pull a 180, these guys RRM excluded, don't have a clue what could happen if one of our boats hit them, and for ever what reason why do the have to churn up the water at every freakin calm cove on the planet, i want to paintball every one of those freaks, frozen paintballs too!!! Although the look on their faces was priceless like they had just seen death at the door, i have seen the light and it says to me roost em all let god sort em out!!! If i could just find those PWC stickers and put them on like the fighter pilots do i would be an ace by now. MVG

well I own 2 boats and 1 sea-doo. So I know what it's like. The sea-doo people don't bother me one bit. And if I am riding my sea-doo I ALWAYS look over my shoulder before making any kinda of turn.

I ain't been there since the late 80's but they used to have an area just off the launch ramp that was strickly for PWC'rs only!.... :stupid

Here's some funny shit, 2 yrs ago a buddy and I were cruising in his squirt boat and 2 dicks came right behind us jumping our wake, you could almost reach out and touch them that's how close they were. So my buddy just watched for the right moment and lifted the diverter and nailed it and he got one while he was on a jump and knocked him right off his PWC, that's the last we saw of them!.. :laugh

I did the same, and while they were getting back on i did a pass turned away from them and floored it, just to let them know do not screw with me and they still had the nerve to flip ME off, after i've roosted you off your ski, while you were too close to my wake and then just to say screw you i do you again, i i just don't understand why they would do such a thing

, also i had a friend who has a Seadoo boat, and has been telling me he'll beat my ass to the ground blah blah...we get to Mohave now i have 2 full tanks of gas three adults, big adults myself included, some full ice chests, i'm running heavy, he has himself and three teenagers w him, he takes off like a shot , ha ha beat you, i pointed and said wait then i went full throttle and went by him veeerrryy easily and was pulling away when i felt the urge to , yup roost his sorry ass, he was veerry quiet for the next 2 days. Yeah those things get up and go they're quick but not fast, and why haven't they made a diverter for those things they could free up that boat alot.

I drove it not impressed, something about having a big block powered 21' boat beats having a whiney 6 cyl, boring to me anyway boat.

Thanks, but the whole thing was avoidable, except for the brain dead lake licer, it's funny how lake lice are like the imports on the street, everywhere and with the bigass wings on the back i am always thinking they look like shopping carts, and always trying to race, always, c'mon guys get a grip oh well i give those guys credit, it takes them 10k to get the performance i have in my 00Mustang GT, and with all the mods they're doing they're getting the same gas miliage as i do!!!

I love Blowing their doors off and see the look on their faces, usually they just keep straight ahead while the girlfriend gives him shit, priceless, but there are some badass imports out there but most of those guys go to the track and i respect em for that. So much for this being a boating thread sorry i just had to bring this silliness up. So sue me :laugh
