Ya know, I only caught the 4th Quarter of the game last night.  I was sorta in a daze/slumber most of yesterday.  Then after I finally woke up, I remembered that the Raiders game was on and I turned it on to watch it.
I tell you what, alot of the "Analysts" are predicting the Raiders to go .500 this year.  Myself, I'm guessing an 11-5 season and a possible run in the Playoffs.  It's all gonna depend on injuries though (The sooner Gannon gets Injured, the sooner we'll win with Collins :D )  I think Gannon can still do the job, it's just that Collins seems to get the offense down the field quicker and more efficiently.   The defense is not a worry at all this year.  I expect them to be in the top 10 defensive teams this year.  Not bad when considering where they were last year :rolleyes   I really like the way Norv Turner is utilizing Tyrone Wheatley and think that he will go for over 1000 yards this year.  This should be Tyrone's breakout year.  And the offensive weapons, the Raiders have the fastest guy in the NFL, and a few more that are in the top 10.  Can't wait to see Gabriel, Francis, Whitted, Porter, etc just torching the defense of the opposing teams :good

The main thing that concerns me with the Raiders this year, is the defensive backfield.  If these cornerbacks and safeties don't tighten things up a bit, and quit getting penalties, then it will be a long season.  Right now, I'd say that the Raiders biggest problem is the pass defense and I expect to see the Raiders getting torched on the passing game when playing against pass oriented offenses.  The run isn't a big worry....the Raiders new Defensive Line and Linebackers are doing GREAT this year. :good

Well right now I dont have your confidence, after watching the first team D out there, they can make some improvements. But then again it is pre season so you never know what can happen during the season.  :jumpie
