Just found a couple fun web sites that have FREE stuff...really truly honestly free stuff and some of it's good stuff too  :good

www.wildhat.com offers free book & music trading. You click on what you want and someone ships it, you pay shipping. If you have an old book or CD and someone clicks on it, you mail it to them, they pay the shipping.

www.freecycle.org offers free everything. It's a group that is like 'ebay' but everything is free. If you have an old guitar, boat, ski, baby clothes, whatever you can think of....you can list it and someone will come and pick it up...and if there is something you want listed you can go pick it up and it's yours free. Sometimes there good stuff listed and sometimes crap...but remember one man's trash is another man's treasure  :)

I can see right now that I'll have to search for this thread/topic again in about 8 months when we get ready to move.  I've priced what a Uhaul truck costs and forget that!!!  I'd rather sell or give away most of our stuff than to pay $2k to rent a truck to go 900 miles :angry

BTW, to add to the subject, in light of the costs of a uhaul truck, everything we own is now for sale :D

Do that down here in So Cal and you see your stuff heading down the I-5 in an overloaded 1975 pickup and BC plates on it.  :rolleyes I suppose it could be a worthy cause :stupid
