Man, almost had me there....I see Silver starting a thread about not forgetting and thought it had something to do with the HD Bikini Team Pics that are MIA :eek  :laugh

But seriously,  We cannot, nor will we ever, forget the events that happened that fateful day on September 11, 2001.  I remember when man first walked on the moon, the Northridge Quake in 1971 (I was in it), Nixon resigns, World Series Earthquake, etc. and many more important events in the history of the USA, but none more important than the tragedy of 9/11.  That event will go down in history books as an event that forever changed the World, and rightfully so.  All I can say, is God Speed to those that were in the World Trade Center, and to those men and women who have lost their lives fighting to assure that it doesn't happen again, in the War on Terrorism.  We must ALL rally behind our troops that risk their lives every day to prevent another tragedy like 9/11

Never forget !!

The part about the HD Bikini Team pics MIA or about 9/11? :D

Just kidding :D

I know, as well as everyone else in the WORLD knows, that 9/11 was a tragedy that will forever change the World.  But yet, there are so many people in the World that want to sit on their hands and say "If we don't piss the terrorists off, maybe they wont attack us".  I say BS to that!!!  And it's being proven every day in the World.
How many countries that have not joined the War on Terror, have been attacked this year?  Quite a few.  From Russia with their School Tragedy last week, To Indonesia, to Saudi Arabia, etc etc, the list goes on and on.  Terrorists want what we have, but they can't get it as long as we don't let them get it.
To all those Americans that are against the USA being involved in Afghanistan, Iraq, and other countries pending (It's coming, trust me), just remember, the terrorists thought that 9/11 would break our spirit and we wouldn't go after them.  But, the spirit of the Americans will not be broken, and it is alive and well, and fighting like a tornadoe to eliminate terrorism WorldWide, wherever terrorists choose to hide!
Now, terrorists are scowering and hiding wherever they can, as to avoid capture or death by US Troops.  This has made our country considerably safer than pre 9/11, and as long as we keep pursueing them and eliminating them, it will continue to make not only Americans safer, but the entire World a safer place.
So I say to all the Anti-War Americans and other like minded Countries, whether you choose to admit it or not, and whether you like it or not, the US Troops ARE making a difference in eliminating terrorism, and you should thank them for that.

God Bless Our Troops and God Bless the USA!!!!!

And as a footnote, I might add that in the last week, there have been a "few" countries that have recently "decided" to take a tougher stance on terrorism, but only AFTER they were attacked by terrorists (The same terrorists that they thought would not attack them if not provoked :rolleyes )

Russia - It's about time you came around
Spain - Thanks for the help for a short time, but after your elections were held, your new Liberal Government pulled troops out of the fight on terror, and you are their next target.....just watch, you'll see.
France - Ungrateful IDIOTS!  We saved tour ass once before, and we are saving it again.  Too bad you chose not to join the war on terror because you had your hands in Saddam's pocket.  Your time is coming....
Germany - Starting to rethink your stance huh?  Now that you too are not getting more under the table kickbacks from Saddam
Canada - The ONLY reason that you are safe, is because you are attached to the USA.  Absent that, you'd be in deep crap.

And a few that support terrorists;
Iran - You're on the list.....Sleep with 1 eye open
Syria - Same as Iran
North Korea - Same as Syria, but you are also in the process of losing your biggest ally, China.

And there are a few more.

Noteable countries that have stepped up to the plate;

Libya - Just nothing short of amazing how you voluntarily disbanded your nuclear weapons projects suddenly and have joined the fight on terror.  Maybe fear of the US getting ya had something to do with it, but either way, now you are enjoying less sanctions and a better living than EVER before.  Thanks.
Pakistan - You guys started out slow, but have come on strong and have made a difference, even though faced with tough opposition on the home front.  Thanks for hanging tough.
Saudi Arabia - It took a few terrorist attacks on your soil to really step up, but whatever the reason, you're on the right side now.
Great Britain - You folks are AWESOME!!!!  Too bad that most of your citizens don't understand the situation and continue to blame attacks on your soil on your troops "provoking" the terrorists.  The British Government, Tony Blair in Particular, has stepped up to the plate like no other (Absent the USA), and have surely made a difference in the safety of the World against terrorism.

There are a few more of note, both for and against, but my fingers are tired of typing so I'll just end this with "Thanks to all that have supported the War on Terrorism", and "watch out to the ones that are against it"

God Bless our Troops and God Bless the USA!!

Oh Jeez, John Kerry is making a Democratic Speech about 9/11 on the radio right now and it's on TV.  He better not stoop that low to where he turns it into a political thing.....

He didn't.  It was actually pretty good.  9/11 was not a political thing.  It was against ALL Americans, no matter what color, race, political party, religion, etc.  Terrorists hate all Americans equally, and they will try to hit us agan sooner or later.  Better to take it to them first.

Yep...I remember both shuttles exploding and what I was doing at the time, but like I said previously, None of my memories will EVER be greater than those of 9/11.  BTW, beings how I am originally from NJ, and still have MANY relatives there, I did have 2 relatives that were in the World Trade Center on 9/11.  They made it out ok.  But there were MANY Americans that did not, and I will NEVER forget, those precious lives lost to terrorism on 9/11, nor will I ever forget our troops that are fighting and dying for us, to make sure that it doesn't happen again.

On a sadder note, if we look at this whole terrorism thing realistically, we WILL be hit again sooner or later, and I believe that this is inevitable.However, due to what we have done to this point so far, we have drastically reduced the chances of getting hit again and have made it extremely difficult for terrorists to hit us again on our soil.  We must continue to make it as tough as we can, and keep the USA from becoming a "Soft target", such as other countries that are not involved in the fight on terrorism, and have subsequently been hit.

I do believe that terrorism can be wiped out, but it will take the collective will of many or all countries in the World to do it.  EVery country in the World needs to say NO to terrorism, and then act on it.  And the ones that don't, need to have their governments demolished by the ones that do, and replace the Terrorism supporting Governments with Governments that do not support terrorism, and will be willing to join the fight against terrorism.  If that means going to war in more countries, then so be it....it should be done because it MUST be done.

God Bless our Troops and God Bless the USA!!!!
