This hand colored print from the early 1940's of Al Brinkman's Seabiscuit F-5. Al, a local auto dealer from Buffalo, New York won the 225 American Speed Boat Championship at the
1946 President's Cup Regatta held on the Potomac River in Washington DC.  I believe this was a Ventnor hull.

A "GN" boat is basically a VERY FAST Daycruiser made specifically for racing in rough water....sorta.  The GN designation, stands for "Grand National" and it is a Circle Boat Racing class in the APBA.

Here's a shot of a '79 Schiada GN boat that is just about ready to go now. This shot was taken about 2 months ago...no momo or interior in it at the time. We were wet sanding the original paint. Restored "Old school".
It'll be on the water in Needles this weekend.

Here's another shot. The day it was picked up. Couldn't wait to start wrenchin' so my buddy broke out the cleaning supplies while the kids were thrashin' it up in the skate park.

Anybody recognize the boat? I'm told it won quite a few races. Story goes; it was first owned by the guy who invented Spandex!
