saw it for $1.81 this morning at AM/PM |
Guaranteed that will be higher by the weekend. Â Gas is gonna go up in the next few weeks because of the shutdown of the oil rigs in the Gulf and the civil unrest in a few countries |
Yep, it's $1.97 here, was $1.95 Monday!.

HEY, I JUST NEEDED A FILL-UP....
KINGMAN, Ariz. - A note and a 25-foot motor home was all an elderly man needed to allegedly rob a Kingman bank. Kingman Police responded to a call just before 10 am reporting that the First Arizona Savings Bank had just been robbed. According to police spokesperson Lt. Dean Brice, an elderly man walked into the bank Tuesday morning and allegedly handed the cashier a note that indicated he had a bomb in his pocket. The cashier surrendered the money and the alleged bank robber, Melvin Neva, age 67 of Golden Valley, fled with around $3700. "One of our officers that was in the area spotted an elderly male driving a 1972 Pace Arrow motor home driving southbound on Golf Dr. from the area" said Brice. Officers affected a traffic stop and saw a clear plastic bag full of money lying under the front seat. Seven minutes after the initial report, Neva was in custody and the money had been recovered.

They will keep going up for a bit. Fill them all up now while the gas is "cheap" I expect the prices to hit around $2.15 or so and then level off and then start dropping again as all of the Gulf of Mexico Rigs start coming back online and pumping oil. Problem is, gas consumption has not been going down with the high prices, so the industry is assuming that the consumers can handle the $1.90-$2.00 per gallon price, so I think that we will see sustained minimum prices in that range from now on, with spikes now and then where there is an increase in price. Gone for good are the $1.30-$1.80 per gallon prices. At least I sold my Diesel vehicle....Prices of DIesel are off the hook. Locally here, cheapest DIesel as of yesterday is $2.39 gallon I'm sure that just about all prices on things (Everything) will be going up a little soon, since if "you bought it, a truck brought it" and the diesel prices are putting a hurt on the truckers.

Quote (BigBoyToys @ Oct. 02 2004,6:32 am) | Yeah, I hear ya on the smog BS.  Arnold signed a bill last week and got rid of the 30 year old no smog deal that California had  So, now that he signed that bill, all vehicles from 1976 and newer will have to be smogged.  It used to be anything that was 30 years old or older was exempt from smog laws, so every year we'd get a new group of vehicles that are smog exempt.  But that's gone now and leaving me wonder why I voted for Arnold.  Sometimes I think he leans more towards the liberal side than the conservative side  He also signed a bill last week making .50 BMG caliber rifles illegal  That will be effective January 1st so the price of those guns are going through the roof here right now....usually starting at around $2500 each  Man I hate this State!!!!! |
I knew the rolling 30 would not last because it would soon involve vehicles with smog equipment, SEMA did that on purpose so they would get it at least back to 76, I wouldn't bitch at all about it, you could be in this F*&^%$n cesspool and still have it back to 66!..
