I agree, Raiders Suck. Kerry Collins can't get the ball down the field without throwing a pick or fumbleing the ball, and the Raiders defense has not improved much IMO. In fact, I have thought that over the past 5 years or so, the Raiders defensive secondary has been overrated. And Charles Woodson want's what? Woodson wants to be the highest paid DB in football and that's why he held out of camp this year and eventually signed a 1 year deal in hopes that next year he will get that desired contract and beat out Champ Bailey...$$ wise that is. I tell ya what, Charles Woodson don't deserve NOTHING and neither does Phillip Buchanon. Both play WAAAAYYYY too soft in this league of Pros. AT least Champ Bailey has PROVED that he is worth the $$.
Warren Sapp has always been a Talker. Maybe a few years back, he could actually tackle RB's and get to the QB once in a while, but that was then, this is now, and the aging process has grabbed ahold of Sapp and he's looking more and more like a "Sap" every day that he plays.
So, yep, I concur. The Raiders Suck. And it will be all about draft picks nexxt year. This years picks were a good start to the future and I think Gallery will be around the league for many years to come. Next year, we're gonna have to get a QB that can actually play, because I think Gannon will announce his retirement after this year, since he can't play anymore this year anyways, he might just as well live off his contract he has in place and address the broken neck during the off season.
Gannon will retire, and the Raiders will need a new QB, other than Kerry Collins. Woodson can get along IMO and go find his $$ somewhere else. Keep the younger faster guys, develop them, and the Raiders will be right back in the hunt in about 3 years or so. Until then, let's just hope that the Dolphins start winning a few games so that the Raiders end up with the #1 Draft Pick
