I finally did it. After 17 years, I retired from the grocery industry on Friday. I will be devoting my life to baby sitting children (substitute teaching) for the next year and a half. Man, am I looking forward to having weekends off for the first time since I was sixteen! Evenings too, what a concept!

Here's to the next phase of my life . . . :beer

Great news for you...!!!!   :good   It's a good feeling indeed..!!! :jumpie

Most of our clan has passed through the Grocery Industry in some fashion; I'm still involved, selling CPG stuff to the chains.

It was a good place to work while going through college, but certainly has changed; not the place to plan a career any longer...!!!
