Yes folks, its true. I was locked in a psychiatric ward for the past few months, with no internet access, a full subscription to "jailbirds monthly" all while wearing a nice form fitting vest...

Just kidding!!!!

Seriously, I havent forgotten all of you, it has just been a busy time. Linda and I have been doing a lot of camping and fishing this summer/fall. We have been to Ketchum, Sun Valley, Hailey, etc, and it is just gorgeous. The wilderness here is absolutely untouched, and breathtaking. We recently bought a 30' Montana 5th wheel, and a new truck for me  :jumpie I got the Chevy 2500 HD with the 8.1 big block, black, 4" lift, 35" tires, blah blah blah....and it gets about 2 miles to the gallon...lol. I thumb my nose at rising gas prices!!!!  :bebe

I had nothing but mechanical gremlins with the boat this year. First, the intake manifold wasnt torqued properly, so water was getting into a cylinder, then I had a lifter go bad, then one of the lobes on the cam rounded off, THEN somehow the flywheel teeth ended up gouged. So, for all intents and purposes, the motor was just about completely rebuilt...lol.

Linda and I were married last month, and the wedding was really a great time. We will probably be going to Kauai again next summer for our honeymoon. Also, I am planning a trip to the river next year for a week, so maybe some of you can get down there.

Life in Idaho is just the bomb. The lakes are spectacular, not an assload of people, prices for things are FAR cheaper than SoCal, people are friendlier and there is just so much to do here that it is hard to do everything!!!

Anyhow, I hope that everyone is doing well, and also hope to see ya soon when I am in SoCal. Anyone that is thinking of making a trip up here in the future, we have room for you!!!

-DD........Out!!!

It's great to hear from you DD! :good

Congratulations on your wedding! :good

Life is pretty much the same around here I THINK. :stupid  It's kind of hard to say because I'm here almost everyday so changes are kind of hard to see.  :rotflmao

We all miss you and Linda though. :(  It's good to hear that the move was good for both of you. :D

Please give us a heads up if you ever come to SoCal so we have a chance to arrange our schedules to see you.  We won't want to miss it! :D

Please tell Linda we say "Hi!" :)

Congrats on the marriage :good  :beer  Yep....I've heard and spoke with lotsa ex-Californians that have moved to ID and everyone says the same thing.  We are trying to move there too, but things are not coming around as quick as we would like.  We will be up in Northern Idaho in Coeur D'alene next weekend checking it out :good  Flying out there Thursday afternoon and returning here Sunday afternoon.  Hoping to look at a few houses for sale when we're out there and also look at the different towns in the area.  Right now, looks like Coeur D'alene will be our next home, but possibly Post Falls also...I just can't wait to get outta CA
