I don't know about Christmas parties, but I understand there is going to be something happening around the end of January at the LA Boat show... :D

I would, but I doubt anyone would want to drive all the way up here for a cocktail  :D  We have had some fun sexy gift giving Christmas Parties in the past down in our barn. ;)

Hey Doug,
 Just a thought.  We're having our annual party to coincide with the Kansas City Boat show.  It you have a lot of members that go to the LA boat show, its a great way to kill 2 birds with one stone.  Plus if you get enough interest, all of a sudden the boat show coordinators take notice, and start coming up with things like free tickets etc. etc.

I'm sure the LA boat show is a little bigger than the KC one, but when they found out we were bringing about 200 members with us, they suddenly became real friendly!!!!  :D  :D

Good luck with the party planning.

Last year, the LA Boat Show was a combined event with one of our member's birthdays. :good  Some of us DID get into the show for free as we established connections. :good  The main board presence in the LA area is Hot Boat and Off Shore Only, while a bunch of those members, also, belong to the smaller boards like this one.  What ended up being the party crew of the show consisted of a group of us that belonged to around 8 different boards. :eek
