I would like to try this post again. I am reading the board everyday and it appears must of the information is geared towards who already know and understand the lake. Myself and a friends are coming to Lake Havasu four days through Labor Day 2003, and I would like some information prior to coming. We are pulling a boat round trip 4000 miles, so you can see my concern. I just want information like what type of weather we can expect, the crowds, laws, dos and donts, the price of a case of bud. Already know where to buy gas 76, I think that is what I have read. We would love for someone who will be the the Friday to before to do the show around if possible. We are bringing a Donzi ZX so it is a comfortable for 4 or so to cruise in. If anyone is willing to chat and answer some questions I am generally online every night MSN (deluxdecals@hotmail.com) I think that is my complete user name. It has been 10 years since I have been there, 10 years ago I lived in Vegas and it was Mead or Havasu every weekend, but one most know many things have changed since then. Just looking at some pictures tells me things have changed. Thanks in advance for any info or anyone willing to chat.

When you say police in full force, if I recall there are several agencies who can patrol this portion of the river. How many are there and what is their jusidication?

Now when you say the sheriff from Cali, they can't patrol the entire lake can they? Or where it is happening forces us to visit their area.

And of course a good attorney with a weathly client has challenged seizures or searches and won these cases or at least caused a stir. Â It would seem to me to be very iffy to allow such actions. Â Go out there and find a large deposit of gold, they will then discover quickly who's part of the river it was in.

Yes, my business partner that I am traveling out there with is a BUD Light freak. He think it helps his figure, I say not when you drink a case a day.

That doesn't make him a bad person. Although I have to agree, it doesn't matter which brand you drink a case of, it's not gonna do much for the figure.
Here's a little story for you: I use to only drink MGD Light, then one day.. I'm drinking my beer minding my own business and two of my friends tell me that they think MGD Light tastes like soap... BEWARE OF THE POWER OF SUGGESTION... To this day I can't drink it without tasting soap.. Nice friends huh? So, for about a year now I've been back on Bud Light only (as far as beer goes.)
