With not much effort and a lot less skill, I have reached a pivotal point in my history here with HavasuDoug's Forum.

I have surpassed the century mark! I'm not boasting for this is literlly beans but IMO, if you have 100 posts or more, it is a tribute to the site that it is good and that it is worthy of sticking around in.

Do you have to run with the engine covers on? Nobody is going to see them, how come you don't have the headers going out the back like most that I have seen? :D

I'm not Miller but exposed engines and headers are a safety issue, they(headers) will cook you instantly if you even barely graze them(instant 3rd degree burns), and I've heard horror stories of long hair, ski ropes, towels, etc..  getting tangled in engine pullies. You just have to be aware of whats going on back there and its all good...

Our boat is mostly used for Skiing, Tubing, Kneeboarding, and anything else that goes on behind the boat. So we spend a lot of time getting in and out of the water. I like the look of an uncovered engine but its not real practical for me. I like to be able to walk back there and not burn myself, and the engine hatch is a convenient place to put your ski and other crap when you are getting ready to getting the water. I don’t think that I would own a boat with an exposed engine now that I have had this one.  :)
