So how long do you think us 19 foot boaters will be around? I am planning on keeping the miller around for some time because quite frankly I can’t justify buying a new boat for 50-100K. But I am sure that we are a dying breed.

So how many of my brothers with small boats are there out there? You get bonus points if you boat is yellow.  :D

Mine will be around for awhile too.  I own a 1978 18.5' Challenger jet.  Oh, and it's white and yellow too! :D

Don't get me wrong, I would love a big boat, but buying one is not a priority right now.  I still love my jet and have a lot of fun driving it. :D

Miller, I don't want $50K+ for the 19' Schiada Disco Pimp Ride... and if you put it in line with your boat, that's a 38'er.  :D

I'm kind of fond of my yeller boat as well...

LMAO…Wouldn’t that be a site. Or I could stack them on top of one another and solve that low free board problem.  :D

I am still thinking about the Schiada..We will see.  :)

The Schiada doesn't really have a low freeboard problem...  I never had water come over the transom and I dumped the throttle from WFO one time just to see what would happen.  Go for the length.   :D

We have a 20' Dana and have no plans on getting rid of it.  Of coarse, we're on a part of the river that's too shallow for the "big boys"!  :laugh

The Miller almost always has water coming over the transom. You have to gas it right before the wave rolls in. That is the only thing that I do not like about it.

Our 20 sometimes 21ft Hawaiian(when I suffering from size envy) is a great. One of the first open bows but I'm starting to lean towards a boat with a cabin for lake camping and hiding out.

Doug,

I am game for that. Then we could have a little boat poker run and a little boat regatta…Well maybe I am getting a little carried away. :D

But the picture idea sounds good to me.  :)

I can throw a little blue in that pic, thats alot of little yellow boats. The little boat reggata and poker run sounds kewl, we could have it in the channel where it safe for little boats   :rotflmao

i had a 19 ft jetboat all my life(i grew up with it)For the river i dont think you will see many new ones but in the nor cal lakes a 19 ftr IMO will be around for a long time.I use to enjoy going to my favorite cen cal lake with the jet.(now my brothers).I recently bought a used 21 eliminator with an i/o but i myself cant justify spending 40k+for a new ride since it wont leave me any money to use it.I  also didnt plan on buying my boat for at least 2 more years but convinced my wife that with a child we need another boat and found an excellent deal.and i didnt want a BIG BOAT prefered 22 and under.

I learned a long time ago that I cant Drink and do anything productive.

I was helping a friend of mine put a stereo in his truck when I was in high school and he paid me with a case of beer. The problem was he gave it to me before I started. I got about 20 minutes into it and was completely worthless. Well that night I ended up passed out on the front lawn and was woken up by a naked chick and was not able to get up. The good old days! :D
