When growing up, what was the game you'd like playing the most?
For me LIFE was most common but RISK was probably my favorite. I was good at collecting the biggest army and ruling the world :guns  :guns

A few weeks ago I was sitting out a rain storm in the desert  in my buddy's motorhome and the kids broke out "Mousetrap".

I thought that game was fun, but we never followed the rules...just built the trap! :D

Twister? I thought he said board games? I liked Monopoly and the game of Life as well. Never cared for Twister but I don't mind watching the right girls play.

Parchizzi (sp?)... Loved that game.  And then it made an appearance in Shrek II... almost went out and bought it again.  :good

Mousetrap.  We have it at the trailer now, also.  Life and Othello were my favorites, also.  We didn't have TV for a lot of years out in the boondocks of SouthEastern Oregon, so we played a lot of games in the winter when I was a kid.

I discovered "RISK" in junior high and proceeded to have some VERY serious games with the neighborhood kids. :eek  Prior to that it was usually Monopoly. :D

The favorite in the Murphy household was "WAHOO". Played it on a board that my Dad handmade. It was a form of "Aggravation", without the "shortcut" in the middle of the board. My Dad, Mom, Brother, and I probably averaged playing at least twice a week. Y'all have to remember; at my age, TV pretty much sucked except for Sunday nights ("Wonderful World of Disney" and "Bonanza") and there were no video games (GASP). Later on, with our two children, we loved a game called "Survive".  :good

(BTW; sorry for goin' on. Good times. Memory lane seems alot more important lately, as I get OLDer.)
