Thanks for the welcome! I'm at work today, so I won't get to post much! Kim- yes, I have a boat. Actually we have two... a Hondo flatbottom (runnerbottom) and a Dana 20' openbow. We have a place at the river, which is great but we don't get to visit other parts too often because of it!

We went once last year. We will probably hit the sat nite drags once or twice this year.

My boyfriends family is good friends with the Swansons {Urban Menace}. Do you know them?

Okay - I thought that might be the same John. I don't know him personally but I think my husband does. Yes, I know John Swanson too. My husband used to race with him years ago. My husband doesn't race anymore. Our place isn't too far from Swanson or JohnwJM. Hopefully we'll see you out there this year!

Nope, can't say the name rings a bell. We've been out of it for so long. I believe my dh stopped racing in '97. He was just doing the Sat night drags at LL but now doesn't really do that anymore! The flatty is now strictly for the "no kids" weekends
