Thanks to all of you who suggested Havasu Barney!! It's been exactly 1 month and my boat is done!! I am driving to Parker Friday night and pick it up Sat morning.
Now I have time to get the motor back on and replace the amp, deck, and Sirius receiver (the boat sunk from the hole) and still make it to the Blue Water Casino on July 24th- 8th annaversery and the wife reminds me every weekend that we CAN'T go to the river becasue I crashed the boat....

I have been working on my boat all weekend- got the motor mount back on, both swimsteps, and alot of other stuff that I cant remember now......Is that all I got done in the last 2 days???
Kim- I am putting the Boysen reeds in and removing the airbox, don't think it will give me much power, but we'll see.
I see Barney signed up here-
Now we have 4 Whackas (that I know of....) But someone shuld take the "boatless" off his title- he doesn't deserve that now does he??? How about "King of Gel Coat"????
After I get the motor back on the boat I'll post more pictures.
BTW- For other outboard guys- Kim Hansen and kphayes- I think the reason my steering bolt came off (besides me not checking it) is that I recently had solid motor mounts put in, ( the 4 rubber mounts with 4 solid aluminum ones) and I think the lack of "rubber" there played a big part in the mishap....
