We are deeply saddened to pass on the news that Pro Stock racer Paul Brochheuser lost his life as a result of injuries he sustained from crashing while competing in a race at Parker, AZ on Saturday April 5th. For those wanting to send cards and notes to Paul's wife Kaye and / or his son Jeff they could be sent to them in care of:
Butte Steel
3674 Esplanade
Chico, CA. 95973
As soon as plans are finalized for services we will announce that as well.
His big heart and big smile will be greatly missed...

Paul was the owner/operator of PB's Prop Shop up in Oroville, CA. My thoughts and prayers go out to the Brochheuser family.
Rest in Peace my friend ~~~ BBT

No, not the Canary, I do believe it was a old Raysoncraft, it's a good boat, he was going real good in it too. From where I was standing, all I saw was him cooking down the shute and the next thing was a spray about 30ft in the air, I knew he hit hard. I looked at the boat later and I saw marks on the deck  and the seat was broke also!..Very sad...My condolences go out to the family!.. :(

I don't really know for sure what caused it because all I seen was glare and the spray, someone said it looked like he hit a roller?, all I know is that you can't read the water with that glare like that, I came close to eating it once because of that!.. Maybe BBT will find out something more about it!. It is a terrible shame!!.. :(
